Hello my name is Joanne Moran. I graduated from Curtis High school and currently attend The City College of New York or CCNY. I am currently in my freshman year and i’ve chosen to study Art Education. During my time in this class I hope to learn all I can about the history of fairy tales and how seemingly gruesome tales become so popular with children and adults alike. But in reality not only did I learn a bit about the history of fairy tale but I also learned about the development of a child’s mind and how fairy tales appeal to certain age groups. All in all throughout the semester and my time in the class i’ve learned some new information like how much effort is put into writing a children’s book and learned more about things I already know.
